
Coronavirus updates: 151 new cases, three deaths recorded in Armenia on September 22
Armenia has confirmed 151 new coronavirus infections in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 47,667 as of 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 22, the Ministry of Health reports.
39 more patients have beaten COVID-19 with the total number of recoveries now standing at 42,676. The coronavirus death toll has increased by three to 1,226 - 288 of whom diagnosed positive for coronavirus but the cause of the death was another disease.
The latest victims were 69 (female) and 83 (male) years-old and all had underlying chronic health conditions. The number of active cases is 3,692.
As many as 266,066 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
