Armenia reports 210 new coronavirus cases on September 23
Armenia has confirmed 210 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 47,877 as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 23, the Ministry of Health reports.
350 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 43,026.
The coronavirus death toll has increased by 4 to 942. The latest victims were 90 (female), 87 (male), 75 (female) and 54 (female) years old. All had underlying chronic health conditions. Four other patients carrying the virus died from other causes in the past 24 hours.
The number of active cases is 3,617.
As many as 268,322 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
