Levon Aronian: ‘We will win this time too, I know It’
Chess grandmaster Levon Aronian believes the Armenian side will win this time too as Azerbaijan launched cross-border artillery attack on Artsakh early on Sunday.
“Levon Aronian: When I was little my grandfather told me that my family's ancestry comes from Karabakh. I won my first strong tournament in a wonderful city of Stepanakert. We are people who always defended with pride throughout the history. We will win this time too, I know It,” he tweeted.
The Azerbaijani military launched a large-scale attack along the entire line of contact with Artsakh at around 7am, using helicopters, tanks and UAVs.
Two people, including a woman and a child, were killed in the Azerbaijani shelling of the Artsakh civilian settlements, the country’s ombudsman said.
