The provocation initiated by Azerbaijan was planned in advance – Armenian MoD
"The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has officially announced the launch of a "counterattack", which comes to prove that the actions were planned long before," Spokesperson at the Armenian Ministry of Defense (MoD) Shushan Stepanyan wrote on Facebook.
"Anyone with basic military knowledge knows that planning a counterattack operation takes weeks. Minutes after the official announcement of the escalation, the Azeri-Turkish media published materials from the front line, which again proves that the provocation initiated by Azerbaijan was planned in advance," Stepanyan added.
To remind, the Commander of the Artsakh Defense Army, Major General Jalal Harutyunyan informed that at 7:10 a.m. the Azerbaijani army attacked at the entire length of the contact line. The attacks of the Azerbaijani army in several directions were repulsed. The opponent suffered human losses, as well as lost technical equipment, in particular, three tanks. The fights continue.
