Carl Bildt: All indications are about Azerbaijani military offensive
Former Prime Minister of Sweden Carl Bildt says all indications are that the ongoing developments are a question of a broad flag of Azerbaijan military offensive. "The previous flare up this year was more local and probably not pre-planned. This looks distinctly different," Bildt wrote, retweeting Armenia's PM Nikol Pashinyan message.
To note, Pashinyan's tweet read: "Recent aggressive statements of #Azerbaijani leadership, large-scale joint mil exercises with Turkey, as well as rejection of OSCE monitoring requests clearly indicate this aggression was pre-planned and constitutes large-scale provocation against regional peace and security."
To remind, in the early morning of September 27, Azerbaijan launched large-scale air and artillery strikes to the Artsakh-Azerbaijani contact line and numerous civilian settlements and infrastructure. According to initial data, several civilians have been killed in Azerbaijani attacks.
