Armenia submits new evidence on Azerbaijani forces targeting civilian areas to ECHR
In addition to the request to apply interim measure in respect of Azerbaijan submitted to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) on Monday, Armenia has submitted new evidence on Azerbaijani forces targeting settlements, civilian objects and civilians.
Along with the developments new evidence will be submitted to the ECHR, the office of Armenia’s representative before the ECHR reported.
Armenia has lodged a request with the ECHR to apply interim measure against Azerbaijan under Rule 39 of the Rules of the Court. The ECHR is requested to grant an interim measure to cease the military attacks towards the civilian settlements along the entire line of contact of the armed forces of Armenia and Artsakh, stop indiscriminate attacks and stop targeting civilian population, civilian objects and settlements.
