Artsakh president: We are as strong as our mountains
Thousands of volunteers have already joined the Artsakh Defense Army, President of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan said in a Facebook post on Monday.
“Although I have officially declared military mobilization, they often reach the military commissariats before they are asked to come,” he said.
“Many arrive in the country from Armenia, and we have hundreds of applications from the Diaspora. This unity and collective will that our compatriots demonstrate make our victorious march unstoppable.
“Today, more than ever, we are as strong as our mountains, while the enemy is under our feet everywhere,” Harutyunyan wrote.
In the early morning of September 27, Azerbaijan launched a massive air and artillery attack on the Artsakh military positions and numerous civilian settlements and infrastructure in the country, including capital Stepanakert. Several civilians, including a child, have been killed by Azerbaijani shelling.
