Defense Ministry: Armenian army repels Azerbaijani attacks in several parts of contact line
Fights of various intensity continue along the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact, accompanied by artillery preparations by the Azerbaijani side, Armenian Defense Ministry spokeswoman Shushan Stepanyan said early on Tuesday.
“As of this moment the Armenian divisions have repelled the attacks of the Azerbaijani forces in several directions of the line of contact and have taken countermeasures in separate parts, causing huge losses to the adversary both in the manpower and the military equipment,” she said.
“In particular, early in the morning a group of adversary’s attacking armored equipment has been destroyed,” Stepanyan said, adding a video on the operation will be available soon.
