An 18-year-old soldier managed to destroy 9 armored vehicles of the adversary - Arayik Harutyunyan
"There has been no considerable changes of the military positions, and the fighting continued in the same areas - in Omar and Mrav mountain chain in the northern direction, less actively in eastern direction and more actively in south-eastern direction - in Araks valley and in direction of Fizuli," Artsakh Republic President Arayik Harutyunyan told at a briefing on Wednesday.
In the President's words, both sides suffered losses, the adversary's losses are much more as that has always been in all wars.
"I am surprised how the Azerbaijani government perceives the value of life. Hundreds of corpses on the frontline, and the indifference to the fate of their country's children is appalling. This is the barbarity that we have to deal with," Harutyunyan said.
Harutyunyan pointed to numerous facts, indicating the military actions had been planned in advance, adding Turkey's involvement is not a coincidence and has not been formed recently. However, they will fail in their plans.
"It is because we have heroic people, heroic youth, who are ready to sacrifice their life for the motherland, as we have a 18-year-old who managed to destroy 9 armored vehicles and still continues his service to the motherland. We have veterans of the Artsakh Liberation War, veterans of the April war of 2016, who captured 3 units of the enemy armor and use them against the adversary. We have a compatriot who took grenades, threw himself into the enemy trench, blew himself up and the enemy force around," Harutyunyan said.
"Artsakh has never been captured throughout its history and will never be," the Artsakh President stressed.
