PM: Armenia considers recognizing Nagorno Karabakh
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Wednesday that his government is considering to formally recognize the Republic of Artsakh following the aggression launched by Azerbaijani armed forces.
Pashinyan's remarks came during the interview with Russia media representatives, where he responded to questions about the war activities in Karabakh.
"The issue (recognition of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic - edit.)is in on our agenda. Signing an Agreement on Strategic Cooperation between Armenia and Artsakh as well as Cooperation in Security and Defense spheres are other options under consideration," Pashinyan said, as quoted Interfax news agency.
In the words of the PM, all options are under consideration and the decision will be made depending on number of circumstances.
