Turkey takes over Azerbaijan’s air offensive operations against Artsakh, says Armenian infocenter
The Republic of Azerbaijan has handed over the air command of its offensive operations against the Artsakh Republic to the Turkish Air Force, the Armenian Unified Infocenter reported..
“Starting from 10am today, two F-16 fighter jets of the Turkish Air Force flying from Kurdamir, as well as the SU-25 aircrafts of the Azerbaijani Air Force, the Bayraktar reconnaissance and surveillance attack UAVs carried out bombing and missile attacks at high altitudes on the settlements of Hadrut and Martuni regions of the Artsakh Republic,” the center said.
“The air force is being operated under the remote command and control of the Turkish E7-T remote air command post from Erzurum-Kars area. The command of the Turkish Air Force is most possibly on the board.
“Apart from that, Turkish UAV C2 station is located at a distance from the border with Hadrut region, which directly controls the fire of Azerbaijani attack planes. This information is being directly monitored and observed by the C2 of the joint air defense and aviation command,” it said.
Materials of live monitoring and recording systems will be presented soon, the center added.
