Azerbaijan applies air-to-surface long-range missiles
The Azerbaijani Air Force conducted aerial bombing carried out with mixed battle order in the northern direction of the Artsakh Defense Army, using Turkish-made UAVs, Spokesperson at the Ministry of Defense Shushan Stepanyan reported.
According to the source, the enemy air force operates at a standoff distance from aid defense engagement zone. Air-to-surface long-range missiles are being used.
As reported in the morning of September 30, fights continued throughout the night in all directions of the frontline. Fights were more intense in the north-northeastern parts. All attempts of the opponent to improve its tactical initiative failed. The opponent suffered serious losses of weapons, military equipment and manpower. Using missile and artillery systems, reconnaissance drones and combat drones, the Azerbaijani forces also targeted civilians. Two of the used combat UAVs were shot down in the airspace of Stepanakert by the Air Forces of Artsakh Defense Army.
