Number of COVID-19 cases tops 50,000 mark in Armenia on September 30
Armenia has confirmed 458 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 50,359 as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 30, the Ministry of Health reports.
152 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 44,001.
The coronavirus death toll has increased by two to 959. The latest victim was a 77-year-old man with underlying chronic health conditions. Another person carrying the virus died from other causes in the past 24 hours.
The number of active cases is 5,102.As many as 292,193 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak, the source said.
