Putin, Trump, Macron to issue a statement on Karabakh
The Russian President Vladimir Putin has informed the Security Council members about the situation in Nagorno Karabakh and the preparation of a joint statement on behalf of the leaders of the Minsk Group Co-Chairing states - French President Emmanuel Macron, US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has told TASS news agency.
"A special attention was paid to the ongoing situation at the Nagorno Karabakh contact line during the consultation. Extreme concern was expressed over the ongoing fights," Peskov said, as quoted by the source.
To remind, in the early morning of September 27, Azerbaijan launched a massive air and artillery attack on the Artsakh military positions and numerous civilian settlements and infrastructure in the country, including capital Stepanakert. Seven civilians have been killed in Artsakh as a result of Azerbaijani attacks since the start of hostilities.
