An Azerbaijani officer who was killed in an attack against the Artsakh positions had an Israeli-made Tadiran radio set, Deputy Commander of the Artsakh Defense Army Artur Sargsyan told reporters on Friday.
“Its decryption has revealed that the groups fighting in that directions are mostly commanded in the Arabic language,” he said.
He added that during the heavy battles on Thursday Azerbaijan lost 39 units of armored vehicles, 4 Su-25 fighter jets, 3 Mi-24 helicopter gunships, 17 UAVs and nearly 830 troops. An artillery brigade was also destroyed, the deputy commander said.
