Artsakh Defense Army downs three more Azerbaijani aircrafts
The Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Defense Army has shot down three more aircrafts belonging to the Azerbaijani armed forces, spokeswoman for Armenia's Defense Ministry Shushan Stepanyan informs.
“At around 8:25am an enemy aircraft was hit in the southern direction,” she said in a Facebook post on Saturday.
The two other Azerbaijani aircrafts were shot down at around 8:46am, the spokeswoman said in another Facebook post.
Tough and fierce battles are taking place in the northern and southern directions of the Artsakh border, she said earlier.
“The adversary, concentrating large forces in these sections, has launched an attack. The Armenian military units are stopping the adversary's advance, causing it huge losses,” Stepanyan wrote.
