Nikol Pashinyan, Angela Merkel hold phone call
Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Saturday held another telephone conversation with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. This is the second phone talk held between the Armenian premier and the German leader over the past couple of days, the PM's office reported.
Pashinyan gave updates of the ongoing hostilities. He spoke about the involvement of Turkish military personnel, as well as about the latest revelations concerning the shipment of mercenaries and terrorist militants from Turkey to Azerbaijan.
The German chancellor strongly urged an urgent end to hostilities and stressed the need to resume the peace process in line with the October 1 statement issued by Presidents of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries.
