
Armenia reports 181 new coronavirus cases on October 5
Armenia has confirmed 181 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 52,677 as of 11 a.m. Monday, October 5, the Ministry of Health reports.
177 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 44,710.
The coronavirus death toll has increased by 7 to 984. The latest victims were 83 (male), 57 (male), 72 (female), 54 (male), 83 (male), 73 (male) and 85 (female) years old. All had underlying chronic health conditions.
The number of active cases is 6,681. As many as 308,019 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak, the ministry said.
