No Armenian diaspora that is not contributing in one way or another, the Head of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund says
The fundraising campaign by the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund launched to help Artsakh is not only a nationwide fundraising campaign but a major pan-Armenian movement, the Executive Director of the Fund Haykak Arshamyan told at a briefing on Monday.
In Arshamyan's words, every Armenian Diaspora communities around the world contribute in one way or another. People are sending necessary supplies, donate funds. "Our telephones are ringing non-stop," Arshamyan said, expressing gratitude to all contributors.
"Our rear should stay strong to ensure success on the frontline. Without that, our success will come late, so I urge all to be as active as possible. We should raise more funds," Arshamyan added.
Speaking of the latest donations, he informed that the Head of Hovnanian Foundation Edil Hovnanyan has made a donation of $3 million, followed by another $3 million contributed by Director of Alex Manoogian Foundation. Al Yesayan and friends raised $1 million in Los Angeles. All these donations came within hours.
"I held a phone conversation with AGBU Board. Since the AGBU has already made donations an agreement was reached once $5 million is raised on their accounts they will double it.
To note, "We Are Our Borders; All For Artsakh" global fundraising campaign launched on September 27 aiming to provide emergency care to the population of the Republic of Artsakh to mitigate the devastating effects of the war launched by Azerbaijan.
