Artsakh president: Defense Army continues to fulfil its combat tasks brilliantly
Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan took to Facebook on Tuesday morning to praise the Defense Army for fulfilling its combat tasks “brilliantly and professionally”.
"Dear compatriots,
Last night, the situation in the frontline on the whole was relatively stable. The Defense Army continues to fulfill its combat tasks brilliantly and professionally.
All state administrative bodies are effective in the conditions inherent to the war situation. Both in the rear and on the front everyone is well aware of what to do.
Everything is under my immediate and full control and coordination.
Rest assured, we will be on the winning side!" he wrote.
In the early morning of September 27, Azerbaijan launched a massive air and artillery attack on the Artsakh military positions, numerous civilian settlements and infrastructure in the country, including the capital Stepanakert, the towns of Martuni, Martakert and Hadrut. Artsakh civilians were told to take shelter.
Both Armenia and Artsakh have declared martial law and a general mobilization.
