Artsakh president reports ‘sustained success’ in front
Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan reported “sustained success” in the frontline, summing up the 9th day of the war unleashed by Azerbaijan.
“Dear compatriots,
We sum up another day of the war unleashed by Azerbaijan with sustained success in the front.
The Defense Army brilliantly carried out its combat mission, at the moment as well successfully withstanding all encroachments of the enemy both in the air and on land, causing significant losses of military equipment and manpower. This was the very reason of the fact that the Azerbaijani terrorist army launched more than 100 missiles from Smerch MLR system onto capital Stepanakert. Fortunately, there were no mass casualties,” he wrote on Facebook in the early hours of Tuesday.
Harutyunyan expressed gratitude to Diaspora Armenians for their donations amounting to 50 million euros already, and urged them to continue raising money so that “after the war, and what is most important, after the upcoming victory, we should restore the ruins in short order, and further develop Artsakh embodying the pride of all Armenians.”
“This should be our collective response to the world. Our national unity proves once again that Azerbaijan has lost this war. We are on the winning side. Let no one doubt it,” the president said.
