Turkey involves new terrorist groups in the war against Artsakh, Vahram Poghosyan says
Artsakh President's Spokesperson Vahram Poghosyan refers to intelligence data, suggesting Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has reached an agreement with the leader of the Islamic Party of Afghanistan Gulbuddin Hekmatyar to involve new terrorist groups in the war against Artsakh.
According to the source, the mercenaries will be transferred to Azerbaijan in the coming days. "This is another undeniable fact that the Turkish authorities are trying to turn the region into a terrorist foothold at the highest level," Poghosyan said.
It is noted that Gulbuddin Hekmetiyar is an Afghan militant who was twice the prime minister of Afghanistan in the 1990s. He was declared a terrorist by the United States in 2003 and is included in the UN black list.
