Mainly children, elderly and patients left Stepanakert, Deputy Mayor says
The damage from Stepanakert bombardments is currently being assessed. The main infrastructures of the city continue their normal operation and there is no panic," Deputy Mayor of Artsakh capital Stepanakert Suren Tamrazyan told a press conference on Wednesday.
Hi noted that when an essential infrastructure is out of order as a result of shelling, the specialists mobilize their resources to restore the damage and ensure the normal life of the city.
The Deputy Mayor informed that the disruptions with the electricity supply have been eliminated, and works are going on. In the comping days, no disconnections are expected in the city. The water supply operates as normal, while the gas supply is cut off out of security considerations.

Asked about the most urgent needs, Tamrazyan said that people are provided with food, warm clothes and other basic essentials. In Tamrazyan's words, at present only 30-40 per cent of the population has left the city - mostly children, elderly and the sick. However, residents from other settlements of Artsakh where active war is underway have moved to Stepanakert.
Dozens of houses and residential buildings have been damaged in the capital city. The building of the mobile operator Karabakh Telecom and adjacent infrastructure have been damaged, yet the mobile connection has not been disrupted.
