Only children and women were in the Shushi Cathedral‘s basement during the Azerbaijani strike
Armenian Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan reports that at the moment of Azerbaijani strikes to the Holy Savior Cathedral Ghazanchetsots in Shushi only children and women were in the Cathedral‘s basement.
"There are no military objects and nothing close to military around the Cathedral. Residential houses were also damaged," Tatoyan reported, adding the Human Rights Defender of Artsakh has confirmed the report.
"Clear signs of war crimes and use of terroristic actions," Tatoyan said.
To remind, earlier today the Azerbaijani forces hit the Ghazanchetsots Church, the symbol of the Artsakh town of Shushi. The Ghazanchetsots Church had been rebuilt after the war in 1990s.
