Foreign journalist injured during the shelling of Shushi Cathedral by Azerbaijan
A foreign journalist has been injured as a result of shelling of the Holy Saviour Ghazanchetsots Cathedral by Azerbaijani forces in Shushi. As Director at the Center of public relations and information at the Office of the Prime Minister Hovhannes Movsisyan informed, the injured journalist and is currently undergoing surgery.
Movsisyan later updated that during the shelling several local and foreign journalists were injured, the health condition of one of them, reportedly Russian, is assessed as serious.
To remind, earlier today the Azerbaijani forces hit the Ghazanchetsots Church, the symbol of the Artsakh town of Shushi.
Armenian Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan reported that at the moment of Azerbaijani strikes only children and women were in the Cathedral‘s basement.
