Armenia reports 614 new coronavirus cases, seven deaths on October 9
Armenia has confirmed 614 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 55,087 as of 11 a.m. Friday, October 9, the Ministry of Health reports.
216 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 45,528.
The coronavirus death toll has increased by 7 to 1,010. The latest victims were 65 (female), 53 (male), 68 (female), 68 (male), 81 (female) and 43 (male) years old. All had underlying chronic health conditions.
The number of active cases is 8,246. As many as 319,791 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
