FM Zohrab Mnatsakanyan leaves for Moscow
Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan plans to leave for Moscow today to participate in consultations around the situation in Nagorno Karabakh, Armenian Ambassador to Russia Vardan Toghanyan has told TASS news agency.
"Details are being clarified now. I can confirm that the minister will arrive in Moscow later today to participate in the consultations," Toghanyan said.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin invited the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan to visit Moscow on October 9 for talks on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Kremlin press service said on Thursday. Putin called to cease the current hostilities in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone for humanitarian reasons, with the aim to carry out a swap of dead bodies and prisoners.
