Armenia denies Azeri claims on hitting Mingechaur, Aghjabad
Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Shushan Stepanyan took to Facebook on Friday to dismiss the Azerbaijani allegations that the Armenian forces have opened fire towards Mingechaur and Aghjabad․
“The Azerbaijani statements on an alleged Armenian intensive strike in the direction of Mingechaur and Aghjabad in Azerbaijan are nothing more than another obvious fabrication,” she wrote.
“The Defense Army has enough military targets of the enemy to hit during the hostilities. We warn that in case of any provocation by the Azerbaijani troops against settlements and civilian infrastructure, the response of the Artsakh Defense Army will be disproportionately tough," the spokeswoman stressed.
