More than 120,000 Armenian textbooks published in Georgia
Armenian schools in Georgia have been replenished with newly published textbooks in the Armenian language for the 2020-2021 academic year.
The Georgian Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports told Jnews that a total of 120,330 textbooks have been published and distributed to Armenian schools. However, not all Armenian schoolchildren have received the new textbooks. The ministry assures that the shortage will be filled.
Thus, 111,500 textbooks have been published for I-VI grades, and 8,830 textbooks for VIII-XII grades. As for the VII grade textbooks, it is planned to publish 12,167 textbooks soon.
