Azerbaijani air force operates Su-25 fighter jets along border – Defense Ministry
The Azerbaijani air force is operating Su-25 fighter jets along the contact line with Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) with the support of F-16 fighter jets belonging to the Turkish air force, according to spokeswoman of the Armenian Defense Ministry Shushan Stepanyan.
“Air defense units of the Artsakh Defense Army shot down one Su-25 attack aircraft in the northeastern direction,” she wrote on Facebook on Monday.
Earlier the spokeswoman said that air defense units of the Artsakh army had destroyed an unmanned fire-fighting An-2 aircraft of the Azerbaijani forces in the eastern direction of the frontline.
