Armenia reports record daily rise in new Covid-19 infections on October 14
Armenia has confirmed a record one-day rise in the number of new coronavirus infections, with 1,058 reported over 24 hours. As the Health Ministry reports, 395 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 46,713.
The coronavirus death toll has increased by 10 to 1,026. The latest victims were 57 (male), 62 (male), 70 (female), 82 (female), 56 (male), 68 (male) and 47 (male) years old. All had underlying chronic health conditions.According to the ministry, three cases of death were recorded in the past 24 hours when the patients tested positive for the virus, but the cause of death was another disease. The number of such cases is 311.
The number of active cases is 10,561. As many as 332,154 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
