Armenian FM: Azerbaijan continues to torpedo ceasefire agreement
Azerbaijan continues to torpedo the agreement on humanitarian ceasefire reached on 10 October, Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan said in a post on Twitter on Thursday.
“Five days into the Moscow Joint Statement of 10 October on cessation of fire, and Azerbaijan continues to torpedo its implementation. With the support and direct involvement of Turkey and terrorist fighters they continue large scale war against Artsakh/Nagorno-Karabakh,” he tweeted.
At the talks, mediated by Russia and held in Moscow on October 9, Armenia and Azerbaijan agreed to a humanitarian ceasefire starting at 12pm on Saturday, October 10, to exchange prisoners and recover the bodies of those killed in fighting.
