Armenia reports record single-day rise in coronavirus cases on October 15
Armenia has reported a record one-day increase in coronavirus infections, with the total rising by 1,371 to 59,995 as of 11 a.m. Thursday, October 15.
As the Health Ministry reports, 406 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 47,119.
The coronavirus death toll has increased by 7 to 1,046. The latest victims were 70 (male), 68 (male), 79 (male), 67 (female), 75 (female), 63 (female) and 62 (female) years old. All had underlying chronic health conditions.
The number of active cases is 11,519. As many as 336,111 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
