Armenians in Sweden call for stopping Turkish-Azerbaijani terrorism
Members of the Armenian community in Sweden have staged another protest in Stockholm on Friday to voice their support to Artsakh. The participants of the demonstration have gathered outside the parliament building (Riksdag), held posters, reading "Stop Azerbaijan", "Stop Turkey aggression" and condemned the Azerbaijani aggression and the targeting of civilians in Nagorno Karabakh.
Member of the Swedish Riksdag (parliament), Chairman of Armenia-Sweden friendship group Arin Karapet and member of Swedish Democrats party Björn Söder have prepared questions to address to the country's FM Ann Linde over the ongoing aggression against Artsakh.
"The terrorism sponsored by Erdogan must be stopped. The war sponsored by Erdogan and Aliyev must be ended and the killing of civilians must cease," the participants chanted.
The members of the community also called on Swedish authorities to recognize the Artsakh independence and prevent the Turkish-Azerbaijani terrorism. "Artsakh is Armenia!" the protesters said.
As reported earlier, in the morning, the Armenians of Europe initiated a protest of unprecedented scale, keeping the interstate highways closed from France to Spain, from France to Belgium, from Belgium to the Netherlands, from France to Switzerland, from the Netherlands to Germany, and from Luxembourg to Belgium and France, from France to Italy, from Germany to Denmark. The protesting Armenians demanded the international recognition of Artsakh and the condemnation and cessation of the Turkish-Azerbaijani-terrorist aggression.
