Artsakh Defense Army in control of situation, repels fresh Azeri attack
The situation in the Artsakh-Azerbaijan conflict zone remained relatively stable but tense overnight, the Artsakh Defense Ministry said in a statement on Friday.
In the morning, breaching the humanitarian ceasefire yet again, the Azerbaijani forces resumed artillery and missile strikes in various sections of the frontline, at the same time launching offensives in the northern direction.
“The Defense Army units took appropriate measures to repel the adversary’s attack and strengthen the stability in the defense line.
“Currently, the operational-tactical situation is under the control of the Defense Army units,” the statement said.
