Defense Army: Azerbaijan resumed missile and artillery strikes at Artsakh civilian areas at dawn
The situation in the Artsakh-Azerbaijan conflict zone remained relatively stable, but tense overnight, the Artsakh Defense Army said in a statement on Saturday.
“No significant changes have been reported in the operational and tactical situation. At the dawn, once again violating the humanitarian ceasefire, the forces of the adversary resumed the missile and artillery strikes at civilian settlements,” the military said.
“Especially intensive strikes have been delivered against civilian infrastructures of Stepanakert and Shushi.
“The Defense Army units took commensurate measures to suppress the enemy fire. At the moment the operational and tactical situation is under the Defense Army units’ control,” the statement said.
