Lieutenant-General Artak Davtyan to coordinate defense activities in Armenia's Syunik region
Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited on October 18 the southern Syunik province of Armenia. According to the report by syuniacyerkir.am, after the visit, it was reported that Lieutenant-General Artak Davtyan, who previously served as the Chief of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces, has been tasked with coordinating the defense activities in the region.
According to the source, the necessity to appoint responsible body to coordinate the defense activities in the province has been actual since the first day of the war.
