Fighting on frontline subsided to a certain extent at this point, says Armenian military rep.
In the early morning, the Azerbaijani troops tried to launch offensives in the southern and northern directions of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) frontline, representative of the Armenian Defense Ministry Artsrun Hovhannisyan told a daily briefing hosted by the Armenian Unified Infocenter on Monday, presenting the situation on the frontline.
According to him, the enemy was pushed back in the northern part after one to two attacks, while heavy fighting continued in the southern front for a while.
"Basically, the sides made no regroupings or position changes. At this point of time, the fighting has subsided to a certain extent," the military representative said, adding that the Armenian Unified Infocenter will provide updated data on the losses of Azerbaijan later.
