Women's rights organizations rally outside embassies in Yerevan, call for recognition of Artsakh people’s right to self-determination
Women's rights organizations and activists are holding rallies in front of the embassies of various countries and offices of international organizations in Yerevan, calling attention to gross violations of the rights of women, children and the elderly in Artsakh amid the Azerbaijani aggression.
They urge the international community to recognize the right of the people of Artsakh to self-determination, considering the immediate recognition of independence as the only stable and reliable guarantee for ensuring the right to life and security of the Armenian population historically living in the territory of Artsakh, the OxYGen Foundation reports.
The protesters have already rallied outside the EU Office in Yerevan and the Embassies of Greece, China and the United States.
They are set to rally in front of around two dozen embassies.
