"The Armenian troops managed to suppress number of attacks by the adversary forces and throw them to their initial positions," Artsrun Hovhannisyan, official representative of the Defense Ministry said at a briefing on Tuesday, summing up the military actions on October 20.

"Since Monday evening, our air defense units have shot down number of Azerbaijani UAVS, including Turkish-made Bayraktar Tactical UAS, manufactured this September. The situation remains tense at present, military actions continue, however with not that intensity as during the daytime," Hovhannisyan added.

Speaking of various reports on social media about the state of affairs at the frontline, the Ministry representative noted that the military actions have a tactic which is fully managed by the Army command staff.

"Subversive groups of the Azerbaijani forces may sometimes infiltrate into different settlements on the frontline where people may live or not, take photos and disseminate those images. This is done mainly to feed own public. There are settlements, which have been announced as 'controlled' by Azerbaijani forces or presented as so in the news and even maps, yet the reality is they have no actual control there," Hovhannisyan said, warning against spreading and discussing adversary disinformation and not to yield to Azerbaijani propaganda.

"The situation is stable, under control, some accumulation is observed in certain section, including subversive groups, yet this may not be called an advancement or a success," added Hovhannisyan.
