Turkey reportedly sends 1,200 mountain commando forces to Azerbaijan to fight against Artsakh
Turkey has sent 1,200 mountain special forces to Azerbaijan to fight against Armenians in Artsakh, WarGonzo’s founder Semon Pegov said in a tweet on Saturday, citing sources in Istanbul.
“Ankara has transferred 1,200 of its mountain commando forces from Turkish Kurdistan to Baku, and then to the frontline. They are operating in Artsakh's mountainous terrains,” Pegov tweeted.
“Specialists from Turkey had to replace the Azerbaijani special forces that are unable to withstand a direct clash with Artsakh militia forces in the mountains. This first of all refers to the southern front and the Jabrayil-Hadrut section,” he added.
