Wedding ceremony in Shushi Cathedral is a message to the entire civilized world - Arayik Harutyunyan
"Along with the war, life in Artsakh continues," Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan wrote on Facebook, sharing photos from the wedding ceremony that took place on Saturday at the Ghazanchetsots (Holy Savior) Cathedral in the Artsakh town of Shushi.
"The wedding ceremony of Hovik and Mariam, which took place today in Ghazanchetsots Church of Christ the Savior in Shushi, is first of all a message addressed to the entire civilized world. The cannons must stop firing immediately ..." Harutyunyan added.
To remind, the historic Armenian church was twice hit by missiles fired by the Azerbaijani troops on 8 October and was seriously damaged as a result of the attacks.
