Local battles underway in all directions of frontline, Artsakh military says
The situation in the Artsakh-Azerbaijan conflict zone was relatively stable, but tense overnight. Artillery battles and firefights continued in certain sections, the Artsakh Defense Army’s press service reported on Saturday.
On Friday evening, once again violating the norms of international humanitarian law, the Azerbaijani forces heavily bombarded peaceful settlements of Artsakh, including the capital city of Stepanakert.
“At the moment, local battles are taking place in all directions of the frontline. The Defense Army is successfully thwarting the offensive operations of the adversary and is in control of the tactical situation,” the military said.
