Armenia reports 2,314 new coronavirus cases, 27 deaths on October 25
Armenia has confirmed 2,314 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 77,837 as of 11 a.m. Sunday, October 25, the Ministry of Health reports.
207 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 50,908.
The coronavirus death toll has increased by 27 to 1,180. The latest victims were 57 (male), 75 (male), 62 (female), 71 (male), 51 (male), 77 (female), 83 (female), 70 (male), 92 (female), 83 (male), 67 (female), 44 (male), 60 (female) and 61 (male) years old. All had underlying chronic health conditions. Four other patients carrying the virus died from other causes in the past 24 hours.
Aside for that, four deaths were recorded when the patients tested positive for the virus but the cause of the death was another disease. The number of such cases is 337.
The number of active cases is 25,412. As many as 377,340 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
