Congressman Frank Pallone calls for US sanctions against Azerbaijan
Member of the US House of Representatives Frank Pallone held a meeting with Armenian FM Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, the Congressman wrote on Twitter.
"Had a conversation with Armenian Foreign Minister Mnatsakanyan who gave me a detailed assessment of the conflict in Artsakh. The US must take critical steps like implementing sanctions to pressure Azerbaijan to abide by the ceasefire and stop using foreign terrorist fighters," Pallone tweeted.
To remind, earlier, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06), joined by a bipartisan group of 34 Members of the House of Representatives, to introduce a resolution supporting the Republic of Artsakh, recognizing its right to self-determination, and condemning Azerbaijan and Turkey for aggression.
