1000+: Max Verstappen has not donated to Armenian soldiers' fund
Armenia’s Insurance Foundation for Servicemen (1000+) on Monday issued a clarification regarding the statement that Formula One driver Max Verstappen had made a donation to the Armenian soldiers' fund, which was also reported by Panorama.am.
“We issued a statement earlier today that Max Verstappen had donated $100 to the Insurance Foundation for Servicemen. The statement was based on the below donation details on our website. However, further inquiries have revealed that the below donation was in reality not made by Max Verstappen and someone else had made the donation using his name, also leaving a message from his name,” the fund said in a statement.
“We apologize for the misinformation,” it added.
