Artillery battles continued in some areas overnight – Artsakh Defense Ministry
The situation in the Artsakh-Azerbaijan conflict zone remained relatively stable but tense overnight. Artillery battles continued in some areas, the Artsakh Defense Ministry reported on Tuesday morning.
In the evening, the Azeri troops made active use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), some of which were hit by Armenian air defense forces, the ministry said.
The adversary continued shelling peaceful settlements, including the towns of Martuni, Martakert and the villages in the upper subregion of Askeran.
“At the moment, local battles are taking place in several sectors of the frontline. The Defense Army continues to fulfill its combat tasks, keeping the tactical situation under control,” the ministry added.
