Armenians held a motor march protest in Stockholm, demanding recognition of Artsakh’s independence
A motor march protest in support of Artsakh recognition was organised on Friday in Stockholm, Sweden. A member of the Armenian community in Sweden Armine Saghyan told Panorama.am that the event brought together Armenians throughout Sweden to participate in the race. The cars were wrapped in the flags of Armenia and Artsakh.
Around 700 vehicles were involved in the protest that aimed to raise awareness about Azerbaijani aggression against Artsakh, Saghyan said, adding the participants of the march were accompanied by police.
As part of the protest, the participants had made and sold candies, all proceeds from which were donated to Hayastan All-Armenia Fund.
"I can state that the march was unprecedented in Scandinavia. We hope the world will finally condemn the Azerbaijani and Turkish aggression and will recognize the independence of the Republic of Artsakh," said Saghyan.
