Artsakh woman gives birth to eighth baby in Yerevan
An Artsakh family has welcomed their eighth baby, Mikayel, who was born in Yerevan on October 26.
In an interview to Zinuzh Media, the mother, Lusine, said the baby was born at 3.8 kg.
"I want mothers to give birth to many baby boys, because they are future soldiers," the mother said.
According to her, they are now looking forward to returning to their home in Artsakh.
Lusine arrived in Yerevan from the town of Martakert with her children on the second day of the war unleashed by Azerbaijan.
"They [the Azerbaijani troops] began firing early in the morning, at 6:30am, when the children were asleep. They woke up immediately and wore the clothing they could find at the time,” she said.
The father has not seen his newborn son yet since he is fighting on the frontline as a volunteer.
The woman says she is proud of her husband who is helping Armenian soldiers achieve a victory in the war.
