Overnight, recon and counterstrike operations continued in areas where Azerbaijani guns were deployed, the Artsakh Defense Army said in a statement on Saturday, adding one Azerbaijani vehicle loaded with ammunition was destroyed.

“The alignment of forces in all directions of the frontline remained unchanged. The Defense Army conducted successful defensive battles in the northeastern, southern and south-western directions. One enemy tank, 1 infantry fighting vehicle and 5 drones were hit by our troops,” the military said.

In the morning, hostilities resumed in the same directions. In addition to defense lines, the Azerbaijani forces continue to target peaceful settlements and civilian infrastructure of Artsakh, the Defense Army said.

“The forces of the adversary employed weapons containing chemical components (white phosphorus) prohibited by international conventions.

“The Defense Army remains in full control of the tactical situation,” the statement said.
